QUESTION???????

I want to hear everyone's take on being private or not on the blogging world?! I kind of figure that people will get at you one way or another so whatever. BUT maybe I'm wrong? What does everyone else think? Let me know.

Relaxing....

So after a long night of trick or treating the girls were relaxing with a good movie--Diamond Castle Barbie. It actually has great music. Kiersten actually fell asleep on Erik's shoulder tonight, which never happens. She must have been really tired. So cute when kids fall asleep on you. I love it. The other pictures is a picture of my niece, Bailee. She is the cutest little stinker. I love her to death. She always gives me kisses and hugs. I love babies.

Halloween cont.....

I had surgery and wasn't going to miss out. This is how I trick or treated.

Happy Halloween....

I love Halloween ( all the holidays really). Something about Trick or Treating with my kids is so much fun. It makes me happy. We carved pumpkins twice this year. Once I already blogged. The next one my dear cousins came over and helped with the kids and carved pumpkins with them while Erik was out of town. Thank you everyone. It was a blast. I love my cousins. They are so fun and so good with my kids. My kids love them. Then we had a church party earlier in the week, class parties, and trick or treating. For the last couple of years we've been going trick or treating with my brother(s) and their kids. My younger brothers kids are the same age as my kids so they always have a great time. It is just something for everyone to look forward to. This year my grandma was here also and my parents. It is always fun to be with family. We always eat good food before the kids have their sugar high. Then we head off to trick or treat. This year since I'm on crutches, my good husband put a lawn chair in the back of the truck and I rode back there so I could go with the kids. I felt like I was in a parade, but it was fun. Here are some halloween pictures of my sweet family who I love so much.

Witnee's Crazy Eyes......

Witnee has the longest eyelashes in history. They are absolutely amazing. I know I'm bragging but it truly is crazy. People ask if they are fake. Nope they are real!!!!! Her eyes are so striking--long eyelashes, big brown eyes. So Cute!!!!

Bust a move.....

My 4 yr old's latest thing to do is to stand on the bathroom counter and dance so she can watch herself. She sings and dances in the mirror. It is absolutely hilarious. She will do it for quite a long time too. I know it isn't the safest thing in the world but oh well. She is so stinken cute it cracks me up. Here's a few pictures we tried to get on the sly.

Skiing

I found these cute pictures of my girls from last winter. My kids LOVE to ski. I don't snow ski and told them I would try this year. Guess not! My husband and his mom take the kids. Trevyn wants to race. YIKES! Kiersten even made it all day at 3 yrs old. Crazy! Anyways, it is fun for them. We're building memories. We'll see how much skiing we get in this year since dad has a bad back and mom has a bad foot.

Nice Foot!

Nice foot hugh? It actually looks 100% better than it did. This is 3 weeks post surgery. The nice brown stuff on my ankle is interesting. It adds a nice touch. They did treatment in those areas and don't know exactly what happened. I guess people with olive skin have this happen sometimes. It may go away, it may not. We'll have to see per the doctor. This would be why my foot hurts so bad! Oh well. I'll be a new woman.

Pumpkin Carving

While I was with the girls, my kids carved some pumpkins, and then we finished on Sunday. My kids are a great age. They have a lot of fun "doing " things. Since none of them are babies, they all enjoy holiday traditions. They are all old enough and can keep their attention focused to do things like "carve a pumpkin." I love it. I thought I would be sad when my kids started growing up so fast, but I love it. They all picked their own pumpkin and their design. It was a good start for Halloween.

Memory Lane

My old roommate from Canada came to Utah to visit her sisters. I hadn't seen her for probably 10 years, so we all got together. There was four of us old roommates that finally got to see each other and take a trip down memory lane. It was sooooo much fun. It was like 11 or 12 years ago that we were actually roommates. We just picked up where we left off. We got caught up on our lives, and had some good laughs. I can't believe that I waited so long to get together with dear friends who I so love. We had the best time as roommates. I can't even explain how goofy we were. It just goes to show how relationships last. Thank you girls for the awesome night staying up way to late. I love you. (pictures will come soon)

Ouch!!!!

So this surgery is way more painful than I anticipated. I am on heavy pain pills and can barely move my toes or foot still. I thought I'd be up crutching around. NOT!!!!! Oh well, I chose this. It will get better I know. Hopefully sooner than later.

Crippled Couple

I had surgery yesterday,Friday, on my foot. Hopefully, I'll have a new foot. They took a bone chip out that was embedded in my tendon, reanchored a tendon, and did some treatment on 2 more tendons. It was lay flat on my back until Monday night with my foot above my heart or be in a hard cast for 8 weeks. I opted for the lay on my back. I didn't think I'd be quite so layed up. Oh well! I will hopefully be able to run, jump, walk, and skip again without a swollen foot. It has been swollen for 3 years. My poor husband hurt his back so we're quite the couple right now. He got injections on Thursday to try and help it. He is going to have to have his back fused eventually. We're just trying to by some time. He's moving a little better, but still really sore. We are hopeful however. We just laugh.

Soccer Stud

Trevyn loves to play soccer. He's getting really good too. Here are just a couple pictures of my soccer stud.

My little songbird

Kiersten loves to sing. She has a very loud voice, but it is so cute. I caught her the other day singing at the top of her lungs while playing the piano. She was singing "When Jesus Christ was Baptized." I love to see my girls enjoy music since I love it so much.

Fohawk anyone?

So Trevyn thinks these are pretty cool now as long as every hair is in place. We don't love them, but oh well. I just tell him not on sunday. It is fun when they get their own ideas on hairdos, clothes, shoes, etc. Shoe shopping with Trevyn takes forever. He tries on everything and then usually buys the ones he tried on first. Erik goes crazy!!!
