January fun....

This is what my kids have been doing for fun in the snow. They love playing outside for hours with friends in the snow. I don't do very good at taking pictures, but here are a few. Trevyn also goes skiing one day a year with his grandma and skips school. It is their special day. They had "their" day this week and had a blast. He (all of my kids) love to snow ski. It is amazing to me that they all (yes even Kiersten) ski since I don't. I told my kids I would try when my foot is better. If I like it, I will ski with them. If not, I will sit in the lodge and read a book while I drink hot cocoa. None the less, they have a blast.

Successful Saturday.....

Have you ever had a day when you think,"That was a very successful/productive day." Well, today I got everything done that I wanted to get done and it is only 2:45 pm. I cleaned behind the fridge and the external part of the whole fridge, I cleaned behind the oven, scrubbed the racks shiny silver again, cleaned the inside of the oven, vacuumed, mopped everything, and picked up/made beds/did dishes/2 loads of laundry (the usual stuff). SO I feel like I have had a very successful day. YEAH!!!!

New Year

I thought I would write down a few of my New Year's resolutions. I really have so much to work on, but I figure as long as I improve in these areas I will be farther ahead.

1. LOSE weight
2. attend temple once a month
3. read my personal scriptures more often
4. be more patient
5. not "dog" on myself so much
6. sit with my kids more often
